Benazir Nashonuma Program

The Government of Pakistan has introduced the Benazir Nashonuma Program for providing basic needs to children. In Pakistan, the rate of malnutrition is 40%, 28.9% of children are underweight and 7% of children are short for their age. Eligibility Criteria for the Benazir Nashonuma Programme

The Benazir Nashonuma Programme takes into account the following eligibility criteria: The pregnant and lactating women are provided with cash transfers to their children up to the age of two. Women must be born into low-income families and should live below the poverty line.

Child’s ID card along with Form B; receive a vaccination card on presentation of your child.

How to enroll for the Nasho Numa Programme

Procedure of how to get enrolled:
1. First of all, approach the tehsil office of Benazir Income Support Programme.
2. Then proceed towards the district hospital.
3. Show them your willingness to apply for Nasho Numa Programme.
4. At this moment, you shall be provided with a particular form.
5. When you have filled up this form, then submit your registration form and sit till you get confirmation regarding getting registered through your e mail.

Nasho-numa Program Services

After registering a woman successfully, she is provided with 2,000 rupees. Immediately after the child is born, the amount received is different for girls and boys. For boys, no additional amount is provided, but the beneficiary gets 2,000 rupees monthly.

But in case the girl child is born, 2,500 rupees will be returned, out of which 500 rupees will be deducted as transportation charges. We also provide them with healthy diet for their proper growth and send them to the classes where they are taught health care. Benazir Nashonuma Contact Numbers
