- For entry into this program, a woman should be below 55 years.
- A woman must have a poverty index less than 32 to take this program
- To get into this program, a woman needs an ID card.
- Widows require presenting the death certificate of her husband to join the program
- Besides the above, women must not have been under any livestock acquisition program in the last five years.

Therefore, only women of 12 districts can get registered for this program. The districts declared eligible by the Punjab government are Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur, Raiya, Kot Addu, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Multan, Khanewal, Vahari and Lodhran.
