Eligibility Criteria for Registration
The Government of Pakistan has set strict rules for who can register for the Benazir Kafalat program. Only women who meet these specific requirements can take part. If you’re looking to register, make sure you fit the criteria outlined below.
- To qualify for registration, your financial situation should be unstable.
- You must also be a permanent resident of Pakistan.
- You shouldn’t have traveled abroad before.
- Having a computerized Pakistan identity card is a must.
- No one in your family should live abroad.
- Also, you or anyone in your family can’t be a government employee.
- Your monthly household income needs to be less than Rs 50,000.
Lastly, you should not be getting assistance from any other government programs or social security systems.

New Families Procedure to Complete Registration in Kafalat Program
Thanks to the special instructions from BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid, there’s a nationwide effort to register women from 700,000 new families into Benazir Kafalat. If you want to register smoothly, it’s now simpler! There are over 600 BISP registration centers set up across the country. Just head to your closest center & complete your survey to join this program. If you’re eligible, you’ll receive financial assistance every three months.
Remember! Once you’re part of the Benazir Income Support Program, only the female head of household gets this financial help. If a woman can’t visit the office, a family member with an ID card can go and do the survey on her behalf.
New Families Can Registration be Completed Online?
For those women who prefer not to visit a BISP center and want to know how to register from home: here’s the scoop! Sadly, you can only complete your registration at a BISP center. The Benazir Income Support Program hasn’t set up online registration just yet. So if you were hoping for an online option, it’s clear—it’s necessary to go in person.
